So we got on the road today to run errands, and on the way home, when we were about to turn, we stopped to wait for traffic to pass, and there's this 18-wheeler truck speeding toward behind us, but it went left of us, right off the road and into the dirt part of it, then back on the road. The fucko could've wrecked. I could've lost an arm or a leg, let alone my life.

And let's not forget kiddies on bikes without helmets, they're simply looking in the face of death at every turn. Their parents must be stupid to let their children ride bikes without them.

I prefer riding my bike and using public transit. Saves me on gas, y'know? And what, it costs $40 for a monthly pass? Costs that much to fill your car with gas every week, depending on how often you use it.

As for bad drivers on the road...Yes, get their licence plate number, and report their asses.

Similar thing happened to me, but much worse. A couple of years ago, we had to stop by the side of a highway. My uncle, who was driving, opened the door of the car. A minute later, a semi came by too close and nearly tore the door off the hinges. If my uncle had still been right there...  <_<  So I know how you feel. That might be why I preffer bikes I guess too...
