unless it gets significant buffs in exactly the right places, i don't see it being chosen over the garden variety non-bondphenom protean narutoad, especially with its soft eventmon status and gen VII exclusivity that'll deny it of egg and move tutor moves
that does look like a buffed water shuriken at the end though

also VGC '17 ruleset and megastones seemingly being postgame (you exchange BP for them with sycamore's assistants) heavily hints at no new megaevos

still slightly stronger than the basepwr 35 it had in gen IV and back, but now it's just a straight carbon copy of scratch and pound
