Moon aura

OK, so I saw this yesterday night and the night before yesterday. Before going to bed after I've opened my window I saw the moon on the sky. It didn't look foggy outside and I looked at the monitor and leds to make sure my eyes wheren't wet and my vision wasn't blurry.
The moon appeared very blurred (it was half-moon) witch may be normal if it's foggy... but with the only difference that I saw a very powerfully coloured blue aura around it, exactly like the aura i see when i look just next to the edge of an object and I can see its aura (or at least I know that is an aura). But for this to happen I must try to do it myself and look carefully. The first time I saw this on the moon I was in no way trying to see it or having my eyes relaxed. I just looked at the moon and saw this powerrful blue glow around it. What I'm wondering is if it was really an aura or just the fog. Seeing how powerfully coloured it was, and it couldn't came from the fog (if there was any)... I dunno what it is for sure. Did anybody wlse see it or can tell me what it really is?

Scientific: It's possible that the sun's light was reflected with a solar flare causing a aura to appear of course solar flares are commingly known as the aurora borealis or the northern lights.
Logical: Well it might be that clouds were giving it the look or fog seen it before.
My view: Maybe that what you saw was an aura or it could be that something was going down that time. Remeber spirits are strongest at night because of the moon. I think it's that the moons aura was reacting to the spirits and that's why you saw it...

I saw the exact same thing a few weeks ago. There's probably a scientific reason for it though.

yes. yes it does x.x

what we probably saw was a corona.. it's like a 'halo' around the moon.
I'm guessing that's it.. 'cept the one I saw was dark, not light like the pictures on google

I usually see dark, purple-ish or red-ish colored aruras around things, but this moon one seems interesting.

Perhaps I'll study the moon for the next few days.

I also see auras. I would test this out on the moon that I see, however I live in a city full of smog. I probably wouldn't see an aura of the same color, though maybe I would. The color of any aura is usually dependent on the color of the object which you are looking. If the moon you were seeing were yellow (like the one that I see)... :o  then it would make sense that it's aura would be blue. Though if it is pure white, the color could vary. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be an aura.

There is a phenomenon called a corona like you mentioned that involves high-level cirrus clouds made of ice crystals refracting light that produces a bright ring around the moon, and it is usually a bluish color. But these moon rings appear around the moon with about the moon's width of space between them and the moon, and you can see the details of the cloud in the ring. If the aura was actually "on" the moon, and you saw no evidence of cloudcover, you may have something there.

I tried a bit years back to learn to see auras, but it didn't work. I can see an 'outline' of where it should be, but never got to where i could see color. Doing it wrong maybe. meh.

Don't give up just yet, technically not every 'sees' auras he same way, in fact visual representation of an aura is very rare... i've learned to 'see' them but in a different way... basically the way i see them is actually through touch, different emotions give off a different feel from the person... its not really a physical touch either... heh sorry if i'm being kind of zen... its more like you feel it in your mind or soul then in your actually body... thats what its like for me atleast... heh for the same reason i can't be in crowds... the mass number of aurs chokes your senses and can really confuse you... i envy those who can't sense them sometimes... but don't give up, like i said its different for every one you just have to find your own way
