So after browsing this article I've come to the conclusion that Radio Astronomy has little or no point. Research such as this seems like a waste (as are most). I fail to see how any of this contributes to anything outside of this antic called Astronomy. It kind of reminds me when we launch a rocket using billions in revenue into space. As you can see it has helped further our society out of degradation and into a new golden age. So, if someone can enlighten me as to the point of this all, I would be quite thankful and appreciative.
