Basically, today was almost like any other. I woke up at about 10am, had some breakfast. Then I went to get a picture that my friend Amber drew for me. The image the link goes to has been edited by me -- I added a fire background. It came out pretty nice. After that, I went to WalMart and Radio Shack to get some things I really need -- namely shoes, socks, batteries, memory card for my camera... I then went to Quiznos Sub, got a 6-inch sandwich, but only had half of it, for fear that my ride would arrive soon. So, I waited at home for them, come to find out that they got lost along the way a couple times, and got caught up in traffic. They made it to my house at about 8pm, and we were off.

Along the way, we hit a huge traffic jam caused by an accident far down the highway.  Later on, we wound up in Queens, NY because the driver took a wrong turn. We got back onto the highway and...well, nothing really special happened - random delays here and there, driving through New Jersey - most of the area smelling like ass (no offense NJ residents) - and eventually, we got to Baltimore - eventually being about 3:30am.

So, we were finding our hotels. The driver and her group were going to the Rennaisance, and I was going to the Wyndham. First, we found the hotel that the driver and her group were going to, and we got directions to the hotel in which I was staying, which we got to, at about 4:15am. At which time, I met up with Davi and Jess.

That night -- I had a dream that my coworker took me home from the con, and I had fox ears and a tail, both of which were grey, I think - and in this dream - I never went to the con. So...Yeah...I was glad to have woken up the next morning...

This morning, I woke up, glad that I had woken up. I was introduced to the other people in the room - Katie, Rob, and some other guy whose name i forget right now. I went into my bag to get my ears, one of which I had to fix - the clip on the bottom came of. Katie had extra material which I used to mend it...yet I put the clip back on backwards - but I managed to make it work regardless. I didn't wear the ears until later on today.

After 11, I went to the convention center so I could register. Only took me 5 minutes. Then, I found my way to the dealer's room and spent...a lot of time there. I found that RedOctane had a booth in the room, where I purchased a converter, so I could hook my dance pad up to my computer. I also got a RedOctane t-shirt.

The only kitsune-related merchandise in the dealer's room were some plush foxes. I bought 4 of them, spending under 130 bucks - as a couple of them were quite realistic. I was assured that they were NOT made from authentic fur - ie, no foxes were killed to make these stuffed animals. I got an arctic fox, a fennec fox, and two regular foxes. I made my way back to the hotel and put them in the room.

I got me some Chinese food, and hung out in the room for a while, then went back to the con center, this time, wearing my fox ears. I wandered around the gaming room for a while, then eventually, I got a call from someone from WolfPackProductions. It was Takato-chan. I met up with him, and we talked for a while. I found out he was also staying at the Wyndham with a few other people from WPP. Then we went to the Day's Inn, where we met up with Netara and Heero. We talked some more. We then went back to the Wyndham, where we parted ways. I found that my key card did not work, so I went back to the con center, where I wandered aimlessly, and took random pictures of people. I went back and forth between the hotel and the con center, and eventually I found my roommates, and...well...here we are now. Watching shitty movies on TV that have absolutely NO plot whatsoever. Well, right now, the one we have on has a plot. Goodwill Hunting, I think it's called. Just seems kinda sappy right now.

But yeah...I'm having a good time so far...

Buy me a coffee!

dreams are as portals, flat visions of misty places, fragments bound below my surface.
but i can write dreams, they flow from me, inscribed yet now unbound. i touch them, and they are real....and they are real.
