I have the game, and it's not all that good. The controls are horrible, the level designs are confusing, and the cast of unlockable characters isn't good. They just slapped on a bunch of random characters that have NOTHING to do with the Sonic series, whatsoever (such as NiGHTs, Aiai, etc.), rather than bringing back some older characters they don't use anymore. Heck, Jet the Hawk blatantly could've been Bean the Dynamite.

I dont havr it but have read much about it and i think that it completly out casts the point of Sonic, i mean what is it hes famous for?! running REAL fast, him on an airboard compleaty defys the point of sonic.

I want to play sonic riders for own reasons.
1. I do not wish to fail in collecting every Sonic game, even if it is horrible, or even defies the laws of Sonic.
2. I think the idea of it is cool and i really want to play it before i go insane. Wait.....that already happened.

Well, this is the internet, and it's not always easy to detect sarcasm over the internet, considering the fact that it's just text. About the storyline, it's nothing that really makes sense. I think it started off with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles in some city, and they were looking for a Chaos Emerald, or something. Then, Team BABYlon (yes, I did that on purpose) just comes out of nowhere, and steals the Chaos Emerald they were about to get. And since that retard, known as Storm, ended up dropping his air-board thing, Sonic took it, and chased after Jet (the Bean rip-off), but never caught up to him. And later on, they see Dr. Robotnik (yes, that's right, Dr. Robotnik, I refuse to call him by that stupid "Eggman" name) was announcing some tournament, and then they decided to enter it. To tell you the truth, I think the storyline sucked. And it's very rare when I actually think a Sonic game sucks, or is at LEAST not all that great.

Even though I hate to admit it, but he's right. THe storyline sucked alot, but you can get rid of that with all the fun gameplay.
