Title: Super hero rp
Post by: Kiriko on Jan 29 2011, 04:04 AM
Ok so short and to the point, who else thinks a super hero/villain rp would be fun?

It would take place in a base city (name is yet to be decided), your hero/villian/rogue (a rogue would be someone who doesn't follow any of the rules of being a hero or villain, but just does as they please) will start with no more than 3 powers, but can gain more along the lines of character developement. I do not care how they aquire them or when as long as they are not gained rediculously fast. (If I feel that someone's character is becoming to powerful then I will cap them right then and there and they will become unable to gain any new powers). I may simply just decide on no more than 5 per person anyways, but noone is allowed to start with more than 3.

A power can be just about anything except the power to have a bunch of awesome powers...

aside from that the possiblilties are nearly endless as long as they are not god-like.

So flying, laser eyes, stuff like that. No invincibility even if there is some sort of weakness to go along with it however. If you wish to be invincible then you must label your power as extreme endurance or something along those lines, but may not by any means be invincible. After all everything must be reasonable!

Also more than one person may have the same power if it is elemental or something simple. For example my character would have power over electricity and wind along with healing abilities, anyone else is more than welcome to share those abilities provided they are not a straight up copy of my persons powers. Perhaps also add some sort of twist to whatever power is held in common with another persons to make it more unique? Powers that are already unique may not be copied though. There is a clear difference between copying a power and having a power in common with someone that is reasonable for more than on person to have.

Also upon another note a power cannot double over as another, for example just cause my person would have power over wind does not mean she would be able to fly.

Well that was a mouthful but what do you all think?
