Yet another Side Shrine of Toyokawa Inari Tokyo Betsuin. This one, however, features frogs instead of foxes. Interestingly, the right stack of frogs is always wet.

well-applauded pokemon game dataminer and hacker brings lord helix to galar by porting over LGPE assets :
https://twitter.com/SciresM/status/1196341454437634050?s=19

good to see that restoring the national dex may not be a far-off goal to hackers
anything to give game freak a wake-up call i guess

though there are going to be hurdles to overcome, like the slew of moves that got cut - hidden power is gone, so what'll unown end up with?

The final Vulpine Side Shrine of Toyokawa Inari Tokyo Betsuin, and a fitting finale.

Many little and larger foxes take shelter inside this tiny Shrine. It's hard to make out exactly how many due to the gloomy January weather today, but it sure is a lot.

Vulpine Side Shrine 13/14 of Toyokawa Inari Tokyo Betsuin.

A fox Shrine right (or rather left) next to the main Temple of Toyokawa Inari Tokyo Betsuin. This one seems to be about getting financed or lending money.

Befittingly, there are a bunch of golden foxies sitting deep inside.

Vulpine Side Shrine 12/14 of Toyokawa Inari Tokyo Betsuin.

A minimalisitic Shrine with just an Ookami, and yet a quartet of foxes with a kit stand watch over it.

One Shrine further to the left is this tiny Shrine that yet shalters about 11 foxes. As far as I understand, 子授 refers to conception after a Shrine visit.

was the national dex cut actually the result of a mid-development catastrophic blunder?
an insider claims to know something behind it

https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/comments/duhpu7/game_freak_said_that_the_decision_of_removing_the/f77grdr/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

what we know is dataminers have the retail ROMS now and went through the graphical assets - outside of some touchups, the previous gen pokemon models are identical to what the 3DS games use right down to the last vertex

consider that hop sometimes uses a familiar hau animation straight from gen VII, its all but confirmed they were using a model and animation importer tool
the insider claims that this tool broke at some point, and game freak found that it couldn't be fixed in time; their idea of a cover-up was to call the dex cut an intended design, hoping by possibly another gen VIII entry or even gen IX when the importer is fixed, to make the national dex a thing again

so basically we might see the whole dex together in a "third game", remakes, or gen IX if true

"high quality animations" my funky ass

https://twitter.com/itjustbelikeit/status/1194000468843941888

it wouldn't hurt game freak to study the canine body movent even a little bit? zamazenta here thinks its a tank

if game freak's idea of something turning around is rotating its X axis while walking in place with no head and body movement turning to where its going whatsoever, it tells me they still program games like its 1995

everything still moves and animates like the gen VI and VII games
