« Last post by Yerix on Jun 09 2022, 05:13 PM »sega's been overly secretive on sonic 3's inclusion on origins as we have little-to-no footage of it that i know of, that tells me the jacko/buxer tracks have been nixed and most likely replaced by their SKC counterparts, which according to the 11/3/93 sonic 3 prototype were the original tracks

point is when sega sees legal issues holding games back from a re-release, they either rip out or modify the concerning content out or avoid a re-release altogether
sega doesn't like blowing money on royalties except when absolutely necessary
they supposedly can't re-release the sonic advance trilogy outside of japan, because when THQ went under, they literally took the publishing rights to its grave
