You know when you try to open you just bought jar of pickles or tomato sauce and you have to open that stubborn as a jackass lid?? They did it so the product could maintain a longer shelf life, but still, don't you find that irritating??
And don't get me started on paste jars....

I use a butterknife if I can't open it

I haven't had much of a problem with the things. At least not recently...

Vacuum-sealed jars are like a sword without a handle: they help keep your food fresh, thus giving you more time to eat it before it gets all stinky and nasty. However, you need all that time to get the damn things open.
