Title: pika-colored pichu event is upcoming

from jan 30 to feb 14 gamestops are giving away a special shiny pichu for download to DPPt

this pichu will trigger the spiky-ear pichu event in HGSS

so, into electric rats? want free shiny? near a gamestop? go download it when it starts

oh, and draco meteor jirachi is coming soon as well

Would catching/hatching a shiny Pichu work with this, do you know?

event pokemon usually have a special event flag in their coding ("fateful encounter", etc) that trigger in-game events

so I'm saying that no regular shiny pichu not hacked to have this event flag won't trigger the spiky ear pichu event
