after a few successful RNG abuses to begin with, i now aim for a higher challange, i wish to obtain a shiny timid 31/31/31/x/31/31 terrakion
closest seed I found is on frame 24, shiny frame 80, and requires a synchronize lead. not bad?
frame 24 is the MTIVRNG, and advances X for every 128 steps taken (X=number of pokemon in-party)
shiny frame 80 is the PIDRNG, and advances 1 each time the game plays a chatot's recorded chatter.
the initial PIDRNG frame for this seed is 48.
now there's a step counter in the game's memory that is saved to the save file, a wild pokemon encounter can reset this counter, so sweet honey'd be good to have (sweet scent poke would take party space though) and after running from whatever, save in front of the enterance to terrakion's chamber, hard reset and set all the time stuff to hit the seed
my problem now is what number of pokemon to bring. i'll need at least 1 of my chatots and a timid synchronize abra.
as the MTIVRNG begins at frame 1, i'll require 23 advances.
any math formulas to decide how many pokemon to bring and how many steps?

how does one rng shiny wondercard mons from wondercards that aren't shiny locked, but aren't set to always shiny?
smogon's BW rng manip guide seems to only cover always shiny WCs
as in non-shiny locked WCs like fukuoka kyogre and groudon, different from always shiny WCs like nobunaga's rayquaza or m13 genesect
have it set to
shininess -> may be shiny
i'm yet to find any desirable seeds, but i guess when generating under "may be shiny", whatever's a shiny frame will have the usual "!!!" in its column
edit:nevermind, just need to find a seed with a good spread and "!!!", here i come shiny weather legends
