my trading hype is officially dead in the water

- individual pokemon can only be traded once forever ; a long distance chain-trading system like what silph road wanted to establish, is rendered impossible
- traded pokemon get an IV reroll, and depending on factors like friendship level and pokemon+trainer level, the pokemon can end up being stronger or weaker

and the reason for this spay and neuter job was for the botters, spoofers, and black marketers selling accounts on ebay that continue to plague the game to this day ; in a way, the cheaters have won

thie takes "punishing the innocent for the sins of the guilty" to a new level in pokemon
the playerbase is going to drop like a rock, and i expect most to make the jump to LGPE/gen VIII

at least gamefreak is willing to dis-incentivize cheating in the mainline games by adding features like hyper training, infinite use TMs, heightened shiny chances, and adding to breeding mechanics

Need to be level 35 to even access the friends feature. Lame.
