Title: holiday pikachu event : 12/12/16 11am PST - 1/3/17 10am PST

- wild pikachu in santa hats are going around in the wild
- they seem to be slightly more common than usual as well
- they also keep the hat when evolved to raichu

*as of 12/25/16, xmas pikachu are available until 1/3/17 in addition to becoming even more common

confirming that holiday raichu can be found in the wild too

I have yet to find a holiday pikachu in the wild.

0. check if phone has gyroscope
1. turn on battery saver
2. view xmas pika/rai
3. turn phone upside down
4. turn phone back around
5. watch the hat flog around for a moment
