Ok.. I've done this story before and its on my Blog. So I'm going to copy and paste the rest below...

I got woke up this morning by both my Mum, and my brother.
I had a nightmare which seemed so realistic, and one that I couldn't awake from.

I was in town with a few friends and then it was time to go home.

I go to the railway station and see 3 rivals, boys who really hated me and normally hurt me quite a bit when they see me. They never say why they enjoy it so much, or why they do it.

Anyway I started run back into town, and they must of seen me because I heard 3 sets of footsteps running after me.

I was now running down a small river, when I saw a carpark. I ran into the carpark and ran up several flights of stairs. Making this floor the 3rd.

I then hid behind a car slope and waited, I slowed down my breath as much as I could as they drew near. They walked past. I was safe, or so I thought.

I thought the staircase was a ovious place to run back to, so I used the car slopes to get to the ground floor. Only to find on the floor below, a man over a dead body. (none of these people I knew)
I slowed down my breath, and I felt shivers of coldness run down my spine. There was a car screech and the man turned till he saw me. The man was holding a knife!
I felt so dizzy, but I knew this wasn't the place to faint. I started to run for the staircase.

The boys who were after me before saw me, but I was getting chased by another man. And this encouraged them to speed up their pace. I ran as fast as I could down the stairs, litualy jumping a couple of stairs at a time till I was at ground floor.

I then ran down the side of the river towards the bridge, knowing that he couldn't hurt me in the middle of town; people would notice and surely somebody would get the police.

However my luck ran out when I tripped over a lose stone. The man had caught up and his shadow was going over me.
I tried to shout 'leave me alone' but I was so out of breath from running for so long.
The man then came up besides me with a cold hearted smile, and I felt a sharp cold object go through my chest. The pain shot up through my body and it was so painful I screamed out, hoping somebody would of heard my last scream.

I then tried to get up but in doing this I lost my balance and fell sideways into the river.
The cold rush of water washed away the pain for a second or two before the pain returned and I felt it was impossible to reach the surface. I couldn't even swim.
The surface seemed to get further and futher away, till my vision dulled and dulled. I blacked out.[!--SPOILER DIV--][/div][!--SPOILER DIV--]

This isn't a true story, but it was a nightmare I've had. I'm considering using it for a story idea, so this might appear in a story of mine. ©Copyright 2006 (My story)

This story idea was used, and it was used in my GCSE coursework where I had to write a horror story, the plot was changed a bit but.. I got good marks for it.

I think I got this nightmare because of the recent events happening at school. I've also been having thoughts about the drowning. Although I'm not scared of it anymore, I did hope I could learn to swim. The person who has helped me overcome my fear of the water, is dead. The same way my character died in this story.
