"There are nearly 7 billion audio and video recording devices in homes around the world...Every one of them is a portal." - That is a line on a poster for the movie White Noise. White Noise deals with something called EVP - Electronic Voice Phenomenon. Apparently, some people can hear voices on a tape that consists of nothing but...well...white noise, or static. This also could happen on a radio when tuned to an unused station. Or even a walkie talkie, in my case.

While I was playing a game in the Arcade on this board, I had my walkie-talkie on. It was making all kinds of static sounds. Then a couple times, I could have sworn I heard someone call my name. It's really odd... Who would be calling out to me at 1pm?

Buy me a coffee!

dreams are as portals, flat visions of misty places, fragments bound below my surface.
but i can write dreams, they flow from me, inscribed yet now unbound. i touch them, and they are real....and they are real.

My phone line in my room is tuned to "Edmonton Sports Radio" somehow. Whenever someone calls, I'll hear them vagly in the background. Even when it's ringing I'll hear it. It's good though. If there's ever a long silence, I can listen to the radio.
