it was about two years ago.
i was dreaming about darkness. i mean...it was a dream, but it was all black.
when i woke up, i was holding this onyx sphere i have. i usually keep it on the table beside my ed, so it was a little odd that i was holding it. when i started paying attention, there were three voices in my head. one was my own, awake and conscious. another was me..but it was a me i didnt know... like my subconscious or something. and then there was this lady.. i have no idea how to describe her, but she was VERY confident in her voice. the not-me me and her were talking about something that i didnt hear..then all of a sudden, the not-me me noticed i was awake (dont ask me how i know) and they stopped talking.
i didnt sleep for the rest of that night... but wherever i go, i make sure to bring my onyx sphere.
i dont know if i was still dreaming or if i was awake, but it was VERY odd... i dont know how to describe that feeling.

wow, that sounds quite creepy.. I think my brother once had a similar thing, where the people in his dreams words would continue talking. I'm not sure what caused it, but I'd suggest holding onto that Onyx sphere too. I'm not sure what kind of powers onyx is supposed to possess in a gem though, it might strength. Then again, that might be Ruby... so, yeah ^^;

Onyx serves as a protective stone, and is a favorite for phylacteries. It also helps to align our inner evil/good balance, and connects us with our higher spiritual selves.
lol, i looked up everything on onyx i could find after that night. now i also keep amethyst and a clear quartz crystal with me too. quartz helps soothe the mind and imbue clearness of vision, and amethyst help us connect with our dream-selves.
i dont usually have weird dreams like that, and i havent had one since, but it weirded me out enough to get me interested in dream interpretation...even though i still havent found any accurate meaning for THAT dream...

Perhaps it was your subconcious trying to find itself... you heard 2 voices, correct? Maybe they were the voices of your good concious and you bad concious?
I'm not sure... I'm just making suggestions at random to be honest.. hoping eventually something makes sense.

I always keep obsidian near my bed, it represents fire and ice and also banishment of evil (i think i haven't looked it up in for ever, its either that or farseeing)

I keep some ruby in my backpack.
I'm not sure why, it's one of my lucky trinkets like my Wii remote keyring or my 8 ball keyring. It just makes me happy to know I have them in there :)
