Title: Requiem for a Dream

Has anyone ever seen this movie? It's pretty depressing. But, it shows you what happens when you mess around with drugs. This kid named Harold, leaves his mother and becomes a drug dealer. He makes a lot of money, and loses it... Basically a lot of shit happens, and he winds up in the hospital, and his friend ends up in jail. His girlfriend becomes a prostitute. Meanwhile, Harold's mother, gets a call about being on TV. She wants to fit into her red dress, so she goes on a diet and she hallucinates food, which is what I call "food retention". So, she calls a doctor, and goes on these pills. Later on, she overdoses on them because they're not working right or something, then she goes insane. Not good at all. It sure teaches you that drugs may seem enjoyable and all, but they are bad. Real bad.

The music in this movie is really intense, and it sets the mood for each scene. I like that.

I'd recommend this movie to anyone, especially those who may be doing drugs. I'm not sure if it's based on real-life events, but it basically is true. Drugs fuck you up.
