Title: Alanis Morrisette or Avril Lavigne?

I like Avril Lavigne better because it's easier to spell then "Alanis Morissette".

I've seen Alanis Morissette mispelled a LOT of times before. Usually Alantis or Atlanis as the first name, and Morrisette or Morrissette as the last name.

Alanis Morissette was more popular in the mid-90's. "Hands Clean" is her most recent #1 hit, but her new song "Nobody's Home" just came on the American Top 40 (with Ryan Seacrest) at #38. Hopefully we'll see another Alanis #1...

Avril Lavigne IMO is the 2000's equivalent of Alanis. Her songs "I'm With You", "Don't Tell Me", and "My Happy Ending" are much like Alanis' style.

I haven't heard enough of Alanis Morissette to vote for her.

I like Alanis. One of my favorite songs by her would be Eight Easy Steps. It almost applies to my life.
