Is it possible to safely mod the PC version of San Andreas I got from Steam? Once I've finished the story with out messing with anything, I was wondering how I would be able to fiddle with a game that encourages such things. But its the Steam one so I have my doubts about moding a non-Valve game. There isn't a GTA equivalent of 'Garry's Mod'...

Or is there?

Copy your original folder to "GTASA moded" and mod that one don't forget to put a shortcut for the moded one ;)

yea so you will have the original safe

and mod the copy how you want and if something go wrong in the moded one you still have the original GTA
