Finally an Inari Shrine with a proper name again. This charming little Shrine is located one town further down the line, in Yasugi (安来 "Peaceful Coming"), and is a Side Shrine of the eponymous Yasugi Jinja  (安来神社 "Peaceful Coming Shrine").

I really don't want to say "more of the same", but that's pretty much what it is. Admittedly a number larger than the last one, this one also features Shimenawa-collared fox guardians, a fox hole (albeit somewhat inconveniently located), as well as a fox "graveyard" beneath the Shrine.

Yet another bit further down the road, this Shrine is located back in Yonago, in the crotch of railway fork where the line to Sakaiminato branches up from the San-In Main Line.

This Side Shrine is located in a shady copse next to Kanda Jinja, which unfortunately means that I should get stung to pieces by mosquitoes during my pursuit of foxes... and that despite wearing "Hello Kitty Skin Vape" insect repellent.

One more Side Shrine of Kanda Jinja in Yonago,  located right next to the last one.

This one features another of them prominent fox holes, this time at the back and adorned with a little Torii.

The last vulpine Shrine I should visit on the second half of the Odyssey Ride. By now, it's already getting rather late.

Nonetheless I should take a little detour to visit this small Shrine on the side of a hill next to the mighty Hinogawa (日野川 "sun field river"), and I should not be disappointed: In addition to a few big and a big number of tiny foxes, I also encounter a new medium: A fox painting on a lamp, as well as two foxes carved in a stone that might once have adorned the fork of a Shrine roof.

This particular Inari Shrine is located much closer to my home in Daisen, in the nearby village of Yodoe (淀江 "eddy creek") located on the side of a forested hill.

Hiyoshi Jinja, the Main Shrine, is particularly notable for having a level railroad crossing.  That's right, the tracks of the San-In Main Line run  right through the middle of the  Shrine Grounds, and you have to cross the tracks in order to get from the antecourt to the main part of the temple, which is in its entirety located within the forest.

A Side Shrine of a Buddhist Temple, and the closest vulpine  Shrine to my home in Daisen, a little more then a kilometre away.

Interestingly, the little offertory box in this little Side Shrine is almost full, to the point where I can barely fit in my own humble donation. Either this Side Shrine is particularly popular, or the box doesn't get emptied all that often.

A Side Shrine of a little backroad Shrine by the name of Kikkou Jinja (亀甲神社 "Turtle Armour Shrine").

This one is notably not an Inari  Shrine, yet foxes still watch over it.
