Procrastination is such a wonderful thing, y'know? Just sitting on my ass doing nothing while stuff should be done. Yeah, I'm trying to break that pattern, as I have for the past...what...12 years?
Kitsuria Chronicles and Digital Dimension are still being worked on. Been brainstorming for the past couple weeks for the next chapters. A lot of it is pacing and figuring out what direction to take things in. Piecing things together - especially for Kitsuria Chronicles. I don't have a lot to go on from my old notes, and the old notes contradict newer developments. I'm hoping to hit on some inspiration for these stories soon.
I've also been getting my ass back in gear with .para//Bound. I was mostly inspired by seeing someone working on their own project. Basically I saw them working on something for their game and I was like "Oh right, that reminds me, my notebook with stuff for .para//Bound has been collecting dust for years!" So yeah, I've gotten back to work on that. I was also motivated by a newer development in the PK Hack community that makes changing the music a lot easier, so that's hyped me up quite a bit. I'm slowly, but...
Holy crap, it's been like over two years since I posted an update here. I'm just writing this post to say this project is still going. You know the drill - procrastination and real life shit. I've been working on this for the past few months, trying to get caught up on things. I'm trying to get into a routine where I work on Parabound more frequently (like every day?) - writing dialogue and importing the sprites that were made like 9 years ago. I'm hoping to get a demo that has Sigma and Weeaboondox done out in the next couple months.
I will be doing a stream very soon showing off what is done so far. There will also be screenshots posted in the next week or so. Keep your eyes peeled (not literally)!
Happy new year, everyone! I'd like to thank the few people who still come here for sticking around for this long. Here's to another year of... stuff.
Things to look forward to? Well, if I stop being such a lazy ass, more progress on .para//Bound, my stories, and my streams. I plan on doing more speedruns and IWBTG fangames, and finally going through my backlog. I'll be posting polls and other things in the streaming board to help decide what game to do next. (I still have to finish Digimon World 2).
As for .para//Bound, it's been almost 10 years since we started the project. Real life and laziness got the best of us (I'm the lazy one). I'm just now remembering how to change the sprites using CoilSnake, so here's a screenshot to tide you over. I did this because I feel like we predicted the Sonic Movie poster design (much like The Simpsons predicting stuff)
That's all I have to say. I've got other things I want to do this year, but I...
