This post is mainly to say, yes, I'm alive. There hasn't been much to say over the summer, not much was accomplished. I've mostly been lazy as fuck, drained, burnt out, and any other excuse in the book you can think of. That's why I never set deadlines anymore. I suck at keeping them.

Anyway, I'm getting back to work on the main story here (yeah, how many times have i said that). Once again, I am scrapping what's been done already and starting fresh -- patching up holes here and there, and adding a little bit more. Maybe I can write something that doesn't suck.

Also, I might finally get around to making a new theme for this site that doesn't look like something thrown together in 5 minutes. Hopefully.

I've been thinking about this for the past few days. I pretty much have done everything for this site, to make it what it is. Sure, it's not active, but I can't force it to be. Nor can I force people to find this place and stay. It has reached - and probably passed - its prime, and I should be happy for that. There are still quite a few things I can do - namely, actually work on my stories, finish a few of the features, and so forth - but it's not that big of a deal. It's time to move on.

I decided I should get started again on a project that Raine and I were working on a couple years ago. A Digimon MUSH. As far as I know, it is a niche previously untouched in the MU* community, and I'm sure that there will be an audience for it. I think of it as sort of going back to our roots, but making a new branch. Kitsuria Network will still live. In fact, I'm not making a separate domain for this project, it will be a subdomain of this one. The name will be "Digital Dimension", same as what we were called way back in the day.

There will be more on this, shortly. I still have to design the site, then teach myself MUSH coding. It will take time, but I feel it ...

There are a few things I want to discuss, and this will be mentioned in the upcoming newsletter. Yes, I still plan on doing those, I've just gotten lazy. Come on, you should know me well enough by now that I am a slacker. That's why this place is doomed, right? Yet, I can't accept that fate, no matter how inevitable it is. And in case you can't tell, I am not being serious about this place dying or anything like that - even though there is a severe lack of activity. If you want an example of something that has died, look at KitsuMUCK.

First thing I want to talk about is usergroup changes. I have split the VIP group to VIP's and Oldbies. The main difference between the two is basically length of time in the community. If you've been around since the beginning (2003-2004), you're a VIP. Otherwise, if you've been an active member for 3 years or more, you get moved into the Oldbies group. There are also other conditions that let you into the VIP group, namely donating or contributing something of awesomeness to the community.

I have also added a new usergroup called "Beta Testers". I will soon be opening up this group for anyone to join, anyone willi...
