Don't forget iPods!

You can put up to 10,000 MP3's* on an iPod.

*based on a 44kHz, 192Mbps compression ratio.

That's Canadian dollars...

In the U.S., the iPod goes for $199.99 for the 20-gig model, and $299.99 for the 40-gig model.

It's been $600 Canadian since it came out in Canada. I want an iPod mini. Cost less but can still hold a hell of alot of music.

Laptops. If your car has a tape player, get an adapter, and hook it up to the output from your laptop. Listen to MP3s stored on your laptop, or even, watch animé, in a parked car, just for the hell of it. I think they even make cigarette lighter power adapters for laptops. Only thing is, getting an internet connection. Isn't there a way to do that via a cell phone?

Buy me a coffee!

dreams are as portals, flat visions of misty places, fragments bound below my surface.
but i can write dreams, they flow from me, inscribed yet now unbound. i touch them, and they are real....and they are real.

You don't even need a laptop if you don't have one. You could use a CD player or MP3 player. Hook up the adapter to that, and you're all set.

Sorry I had to bump this topic, but...

One of our local Adult Contemperary stations has the name B-95.5 FM. It says that the "B" stands for "Bitch" after Meredith Brooks' 1996 song. It is played a lot even today on that station.

Children under 10 listen to that station without even knowing what the "B" in B-95.5 FM stands for.
