Title: What's the origin of your username?
Post by: Mystical Ninja on Sep 23 2005, 05:47 PM: Many people might not know this, but my username didn't come from the N64 game, Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon, or the SNES game The Legend of Mystical Ninja. I came up with this name back in December 2002. I was playing with my little brother, and then I wore a hooded sweatshirt over my head, pretending to be a ninja, and then I called myself "Mystical Ninja". And that was before I've even heard of that game, it was just too much of a concidence.

Inside the palace, they wreck a little bit of havok, get some demons really angry, and save an aquatence of Twilight's, an elf by the name of Sergei. Later, it turned out that he was in fact not an elf, but of a little known reptilian race. He still stayed with the party. But yeah, I took my name from an NPC in a game I ran awhile ago. A pretty secksy NPC as well, if I don't say so myself.

Nah...my name describes me, basically...Samui is the Japanese word for "cold". And kon has to do with the sound a fox makes (onomotopeia, basically). Since I like the cold, and I like foxes, I put the two together, and there you have it. Samuikon. ^_^

So I changed my name about a year ago now..
My new username or current one is: DarkOnister.

It sorter relates to my life.. thats how I thought of it.

Dark represents the bad times I've been going through.. because people discriminate against me because I'm different.. and I've had quite a harsh past life because of that..

Onister stands for Onist.. Out of all the bad things that have been happening, I know force isn't the awnser since I'm strong enough to even pick a fight with first years at my school.. And I thought being Onist and Kind would get me further. Plus the word 'Kind' is the meaning of my name.

Hense putting them together and putting the 'er' on to make it sound cooler. I came up with DarkOnister.
Not bad really.. my brothers Username is Elthial. which is a name of a DarkEldar (Warhammer4000)

I changed the e to a 3 (BECAUSE I AM L33T LOLZ) and used that as my username when i started playing netbattle, and it just stuck I guess.

The combinations I got were "Sonimus", "Decison", "Dessonic", and "Decimic". I liked Decimic out of all those combinations. The "real" was added when someone impersonated me.

I then shortened it to Talon Shadowfox, and then from there to the nickname Tal...

None of Talonaserift means anything in any language... it was just long and original (i hope...) :)

I had just gotten this really neat werewolf skin and I needed a newer and shorter name than the one I had. It was white so "The Light" sorta fit. Afterwards it just made it's way to my other games and forums and before I knew it, it stuck. That and I thought it made me sound all awesome and smart. :P

It's from the zeritij language, litterally translated meaning "Wave Mirror" in a metaphorical sense.
Wave: Something/-one that is ever-changing
Mirror: Something/-one reflecting others
I took that name back in the days when I wasn't sure of what I would be, and I will lay it down the day I really become a Kitsune. :)

I also saw in one book that it was also Japanese for cloud. Oh well, I consider myself quite mad, have a fear of spiders, and think clouds are... quaint, so the name makes perfect sense don't you agree? :D

Was 14, and was just repeating a random gibberish word, "Upachoppakeeya" to anny someone I didn't like...

Later used it as my firts online name.

People called me Keeya, for short, and it just stuck. :3

Once I became a fox, I changed it to just "Keeya" and later to "Keeya Kitsune"

When I made my move to Saiyanfox, where I think I'm going to stay, I decided I needed a new name... (Also because I had found out that "Keeya" is a girl's name in Africa. ^^;;;; )

I thought for a minute, and picked "Kiro Kitsune" because I thought it sounded good. ^^

So there's my story. :3

Post by: Sylver on Nov 13 2008, 08:08 PM: The origin of my username was from my old nickname, Silver (my hair has a slight natural gloss, and I had my hair dyed a grey color at the time). Then I switched out the 'i' for a 'y'.
Sometimes there is the 'Faux' suffix on my name, simply so that it can be used when the username 'Sylver' is already taken. It was originally 'Fox' (my middle name), and I just switched it because I felt like it. Plus, it avoids the whole 'UR A FURFAG' label some people apply to you on forums simply because you have the name of an animal in your username.

One of my older usernames was MD1032, which is the name of the main character from a video game I used to play alot, called Descent 3.

Another older username was 'Serene', which was my favourite character in Riviera: The Promised Land.

So, yeah.

I know nobody cares.

thats funny cause mah friends call me minja due to my shorter(comparative in our group) height and because I'm one of those people who could stand right in of peoples faces and not be noticed.

When I actually look at it I want to hurt myself, but the origins where based of my laughing a lot. Me and my good bud had been watching and playing Resident Evil for pretty much the entire day, but then out of no where we decided to play some Halo 3. We were bored so we started thinking of abbreviations and I just turned my Gamertag into SAZIC. Not that interesting now it. On other sites I'll add three ones on the end if I can't use this one. Or I'll use the name Concatis, pretty much was just the result of me trying to think of a name for a medieval vampire/lycans/fairies/and dragons oh my...any who. It was for a character in a different RP.

I needed a username for a website I was registering at during 2003 (Supercheats), and I happened to have the newly released 'Pokemon Sapphire' running on my GBA at the time.

I had a Flygon on my team.

Anyway, since I've already explained the origin of my "Mystical Ninja" username, I think I'll go ahead and explain the other ones, too.

BioHedgehog- I came up with this name seven years ago. I just simply took The BioLizard's name (from Sonic Adventure 2), and replaced "Lizard" with "Hedgehog". I also had an abbreviation of this username, called "BioHedgie".

AmyFan2K3- Another name I came up with seven years ago. It was during an...Amy-obsession phase I was going through. Don't ask, just...don't. You're just better off not knowing.

Golden Sonic- I came up with this before any of the others. When I first discovered Sonic's Super form in Sonic 2, I used to refer to him as "Golden Sonic", since I didn't know what he was actually called at the time. It wasn't until late 2003 when I started using it as an actual username. I also had a recolored glitch/fan character with this name, and he had an evil half called "Silver Sonic".

Not where I got it from though...I got Tyro from a strange book called The Outernet. There was a spider-monkey in it called 'Tyro'. I though it was a good name so I decided to adopt it when I needed a name on computer games. It only really stuck when I attempted fan fiction for the first time I slowly conjured up with idea of a character I decided to call him Tyro. The fan fiction was for Kingdom Hearts seeing as that had captured my imagination at the time. But I wasn't keen on Sora as a main character. I was going to write this fan fic to suggest an alternative to the overly-emotional Sora; Tyro. The whole Kitsune business would come later after making a link from Sonic's Tails to Kitsune.

But recently I don't like the way Thai people called the name and I was crazy about Kitsune, so I changed my name to Kitsune_Kun in a manga drawing site. When I entered KP I think the name is too normal so I changed it to Kit-kun. But my main username is still Red_Romanov because I don't want to change it.

The name of "Krazy Monkey" is a reference to both the Dragon Ball series and the Donkey Kong Country series. In one episode of Dragon Ball, where Goku was fighting against Jackie Chun, he used an ability called the "Crazy Monkey technique". The "C" was replaced with a "K" to make a reference to the way some words are spelled in the Donkey Kong Country series, like "Krocodile Kore", or "Krazy Kremland", for instance.
