Title: What theme do you use?
Post by: Samui on Oct 06 2012, 11:52 AM
Not having much to show as far as progress on anything goes (much of it is behind the scenes), I decided to throw up a poll here to see what themes people here use. Out of curiosity, mostly. Click the bold links for screenshots of each theme.

Kitsuria 3.0 (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/kn3-screenshot.png) (Default) (Added: 5/27/13)

The new default theme for Kitsuria, with two variants (as of 5/29) and more to come. A bit of a throwback to the older incarnations of this community.
-- Variant 1: Digital Dimension v3 (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/kn3-ddscreen.png)
-- Variant 2: Illusion (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/kn3-illusion.png) (Added 5/30/13)

Sigma (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/sigma-kn.png) (original (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/sigma.png))

The main skin from our second incarnation, recreated (and improved) for use on SMF. I actually use this on my netbook.

Digital Gate3 (Kitsune 1) (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/dg-kn.png) (original (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/dg3-kitsune1.png))

Another previous incarnation of this community. I chose to add this theme to the set because it was created around the time I started being obsessed with kitsune.

Kitsune Paradise v1 (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/kpv1-kn.png)

This is actually a combination of three revisions of the original Kitsune Paradise theme. I took elements I liked from each edit, and put it all together. I also recreated the header images from the original source image so they fit on a larger screen (up to 1600px wide). I use this on my desktop.

Kitsuria v1 (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/knv1.png)

The original skin used for the first two years of Kitsuria being live. Honestly, I feel this was rushed - partially due to electrical issues we were having at the time (https://kitsuria.net/ranting/hunters-ridge-apartments-powered-by-hamsters/). I've been too lazy to fix it until earlier this year.

Ninth Anniversary (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/kn-9th.png)

Skin created for the ninth anniversary of this community's existence (February 25). Why 9 years instead of 10? 9 is one of my favorite numbers.

Kitsuria 2.0 (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/knv2.png)

An update from Kitsuria v1.0 when I upgraded the forum software to SMF 2.

Digital Gate 1+2 (http://kitsuria.net/i/knsnap/kn-dg1.png) (Added: 12/25/12)

The original skin used for Digital Gate, based off the BoHeGeHa IPB 1.3 theme. Added this on the 9th anniversary of Digital Gate's launching. Has two variants.

(Update: 1/9/13 -- Updated the theme. It now has both themes from v1 and v2 of Digital Gate, in one set. Select the variant in the Themes section of your profile.)

(Update: 5/29/13 -- Added Kitsuria 3.0. It is the new default theme.)

I use V1. It's how I remember this place as it was back in 2010.

Updated for the theme that was added a couple weeks back. I personally use this one now, for nostalgic reasons.

The default theme is great, but I loved the 2009 theme.

I'm also using the default theme now. I've also added a new variant, called "Illusion", named for our sister site back in the day. Today is its anniversary, so I thought I'd commemorate it by porting its style over.

As for the 2009 theme, you mean the one we had before switching over to SMF?

I'm thinking it was either Digital Gate or Kitsune Paradise
