Title: THE MOON RULZ BOSTON
Post by: Yerix on Feb 01 2007, 11:22 PM
Boston under siege by the mooninites of ATHF fame...in the form of magnetic light-brite looking signs mistaken for bombs:

it's all over the media, now that's one hell of a marketing campaign.

If you find that something wierd, I saw at the local news just a few minutes ago a bunch of workers planning to push an aeroplane because its not taking off. Nothing on the internet about it yet but anywayz I find that amazing and funny :)

But about this thing with the devices... people are way too paranoid about the smallest thing, and I find it actually annoying. These guys are going to get laughed at alot ^.-

On other news, stores are being ordered to pull Lite-Brite toys off their shelves, in light of this recent act of terrorism. =P

they say that it was the biggest security scare since 9/11.

there's a bunch of fanmade pictures, videos, and merchendise reflecting on this event, just look on ebay, youtube, and google images, under "mooninites" or whatever else is related. some people even got a hold of the signs before the police could do anything with them, and they either are selling them on ebay for a fortune or keeping them as a nice piece of memorabilia.

oh, and here's the wiki article:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Boston_Mooninite_Scare (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Boston_Mooninite_Scare)

EDIT:and for those that actually want one of the light boards but was unlucky of finding one in any of the 9 cities where they were set up, or can't afford bidding for the real thing on ebay, you can own the next best thing-a more affordable and accurate replica of the sign:

they're just doing ignignokt lights, though, but they might do err lights later in their buisness.
