So, moving is an annoying experience, especially when your ISP takes a week to get you moved (internet wise) and, tells you they'll install you on Saturday at 11:30 AM, doesn't show up, doesn't respond to phone calls most of the day, tells me bullshit stories, and then shows up on Sunday and fails to do what they told me they would do.
That being, I set up my PC in the second bedroom near a phone jack that I wanted converted to a cable jack (which they told me they can do, since I have Roadrunner).
Dude gets here, tells me he can't because I'm on the second floor, blah, blah, now I have ethernet cables running all over the place.
So I am considering switching to DSL, except, the best deal I found so far (from the same company) is a pathetic 3MB/second for $45 a month O.o; I pay $40 for 8MB/sec Roadrunner--wtf?
So, yeah, start college tomorrow, couldn't get my books because of the move (or my laptop for that matter) so things out to be quite--interesting--these first few weeks.
On a positive note, the new place is bigger, brighter, cleaner, newer, two bedrooms, working AC, balcony, and a garage, for $535 a month. That is funny considering my old one bedroom ancient cave was $425 a month. Even more interesting is, the utilities here should cost 1/3 the utilities at my old place, meaning I'll in realty only be paying $10 - $30 more a month for this place.
Rockin', I just wish everything else would work in my favor lol

Menasha, WI xD That is why, this state has (for the most part) cheap digs because of a low standard of living and lack of metropolises.
