Well you live there irl so you know better. From what I'm reading however, you do get arrested for a word you say on the net or a picture you put or something, which I found something of a very low level for a civilized country. I may shout against Bush on the street and have nothing happen, and then I get the cops in for putting a anime episode on youtube. *shrugs* Well maybe people are indeed exaggerating and just writing horrible things on the news to make things look exciting, that happens here too a lot. I still don't trust them though.

Well what you are thinking of is copyright laws, if you post an episode of anime (such as naruto or bleach) that is copyrighted here in the U.S. then you can be arrested for it, however if it is an episode that is still in its original japanese format and hasnt been aired here in the U.S. yet (such as an episode that JUST came out in Japan) then it doesn't count as part of the series yet... not sure how good of a job explaining that I did but at least you can get the picture.

Yeah, that is one thing. I agree with copyright to a point... but to the point of arresting someone in their own home for copying a clip or picture, no way. But yeah, still sticking to my point for now <_<
