What is your biggest fear?
I know I am afraid of thunderstorms.
-
It used to be bees. Then this (http://www.creedofficial.com) came up. *shudders*
-
I'm terrified of Thunder and Lightning storms, and when i say terrieifed, i dont mean your run of the mill scared >.<
-
That's a tough decision...
I have Arachnophobia...
And I was about to compare it to something else just now and then I realized... The other thing I don't want to talk about... I don't even want to think about! >.<
Ok well I guess since I'm here I have to say it, it's called spontanious combustion.
*Shudders* I don't even like the thought of it, it scares me so much.
-
im afraid of water, and my mothers eventual degeneration into a mindless cabbage.

Time. The thoughts of aging, living only a mere one hundred years on this rock before dying and promptly being forgotten by this world? yeah, it scares the living fuck out of me.
For me, every birthday is bitter sweet... heh i'm probably going to be that crazy fool who opens pandora's box and stops aging... damn... already worried about this and i'm only 18 *sigh*
-
Living scares the shit out of me! :o
-
Life *is* scary. :o
-
Hmmm... I have lots of things I'm afraid of... I'm just very deathly afraid of great heights :o and I'm basically afraid of the rest of my life will turn out after I turn 18 in which my birthday isn't too far off. :(
-
i thought about this for quite some time age death hmmm why live if you are to die. age wise i have a theroy on how to stop it but i cant start it till we have a succesful cure for cancer. ill probly be dead by then. lol
-
i dont see how death itself is scary. I think the idea as to what happensafter you die is sort of a scary one. but to be scared of dying means your scared for the rest of your life about something that cannot be changed or avoided.
-
to stop death age wise? You mean because cancer cells are immortal right? Well anyways good luck with that one. :P
-
yeah that was the idea. but people seem to disaprove of people playing god
i dont wanna play god i just rather avoid death lol.
-
Death is unavoidable otherwise it upsets the balance

In this time and age I must disagree Sirus. With the way computers are and the way they are advancing many things are possible in the future, though I suppose in a way your right, one would find it extremely difficult to avoid death forever but in the future it could be possible (In my opinion) to store one's mind in a computer program, have it stored on multiple so if one failed even for a moment or was destroyed there are others, from which you could live virtually or in the real world perhaps in a robotic body which also would be much more difficult to harm. Though keep in mind I am not saying this is at all possible right now or in the near future, though with the right minds on it it could be possible within our lifetimes easily.
Though I think I should say this thread is becoming slightly off topic, I would suggest someone start a new thread about this if anyone cares at all to continue this discussion somewhere perhaps a bit more appropriate.

Hmm biggest fear...biggest fear...It'ss really a hard thing to say...I've lit my self on fire so thats probably not it...I've also jumped off the roof of the local elementary school so hitting the ground isn't it ether...Heck I even dive off of water drains into water I don't know how deep it is, so it's not drowning ether...Then again I don't like roller coasters but that might be tied to what is a larger fear for me...I don't want to die asleep...I don't want to be in a hospital when I go ether...I guess my biggest fear is that I won't be able to kick death in the face, and drag as many people down to the grave with me as I can...I guess it's probably that when I finnaly get my chance to die coated in the blood of others...I'll be to afraid to do it...and dieing from something I can't take down with me...like cancer...or heart failure...so yah, dieing out of combat would be my biggest fear.

One of my biggest fears would have to be common, being alone. And by that I mean without anyone to love or love me. That makes my soul want to break and tear into peices...
The other... The nightmares that are more than themselves. The things that lurk inside my nightmares, waiting to show themselves in a violent display of fear, torment, and malice, that do that suddenly, without warning. Or that show themselves from teh very beginning. The ones strong enough that will make you wake up crying, wanting to be in a bright, white-lit room smack-dab in the center of it, not wanting to be near anything that could possibly cause shadow. The ones that put a blade against a little girl's mouth, giving her such a pretty wide smile... as she violently convulses, screaming, wide-eyed up at the sky or ceiling. Then, when released, throws herself five or six feet away, flailing, rolling, convulsing violently on the floor....

It really depends i guess i could say that my biggest fear is things that could kill me underwater. Like sharks, jellyfish, and other creatures.

Just a follow-up on this. Creed reunion might not be as horrible as I thought. Bees now top the list once again.
-
I fear the Ocean, specifically, swimming in it.
Or hell, ANY pool.
Lets just say my previous shoulder dislocation happened underwater. >.>

Fear itself. But if you want my most major fear, I'd have to say the future. There is no telling what there is. Could be a nuclear war, the sudden death of a loved one, or even an apocolypse where only there are a few of us who live and your one of them, left to rot in a radioactive post-apocalyptic wasteland. In a sense, fear is fearing fear itself, as fear is worry of the unkown. When you fear, whether it be bees, or drowning, or even spiders, your afraid of what you don't know will happen. So basically, you are fearing fear itself. I is a nerd. BD
