I've been waiting for this game for over a year. If you remember I Wanna Be The Boshy, the guy who made the game moved on to make an even better challenging platformer called Wings of Vi. It is inspired by masochistic platformers, but the gameplay is more skill based rather than difficult for the sake of being difficult. You play as the angel Vi, who has to defeat the Demon Lord Jeh’oul after he is freed from captivity. You travel through several dangerous worlds, collecting powerups to help you along the way. There are even some treasure chests with costume items so you can customize your character.
There are a few difficulty levels you can select. Angel Mode has more savepoints, weaker bosses and enemies, and extra platforms. Mortal Mode is the regular level. Demon mode has fewer savepoints, and the bosses are even stronger. I recommend Angel Mode if you're just starting out, though I like to live dangerously and play on the normal difficulty. I might wuss out later on though. :E
Update: I did wuss out and switch to Angel Mode. It's still challenging, and very enjoyable so far. I have beaten the second major boss.
