Me, I personally use Gimp 2.0 and Gimp 1.2.5 on my Presario and my Gateway.
But, on my old 486, I have PSP 3.01 as my main image editor.
You can download The GIMP for Windows in either source code (http://www.gimp.org/downloads/) or installer (http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/) now.
I'd laugh if someone said MS Paint...
-
I use Photoshop.
-
MSPaint (for sprite creation)
Adobe Photodeluxe (for bigger things, like sig banners)
-
Start laughing, MS Paint. It's all I got. I'll get GIMP tommorrow when my comuter gets reformatted.
-
MSPaint is actually a nice image editor, for those who just want to do simple things. Though, those who have tons of time, can do pretty awesome things in it.
-
It's fine to make simple things yes. Like the background for my sig image was just copy + cut + paste.

Done in paint.

Adobe Photoshop at Oberlin for big stuff. MSPaint at home for most other things.

I'll use Paint or PSP depending on what im doing. PSP, more for when i just wat to mness around with filters or animate, Paint for when i want a logo. If i need a button i will use The GIMP 2.0 thoguh. I don't do any image editing in my Linux box.
