To tell you the truth, I actually think Vampire Amy would be a cool concept, but maybe that's just me.

Post by: Yerix on Aug 10 2008, 07:38 PM: recently they came out with a manga based on the game, introducing a new fairy+dog looking character "chip" which resembles tails a bit. nothing yet on when this character will be in the game or be manga exclusive.

it's alright, but proves that my point still stands, and that point is that the werehog sucks cock. controls suck, they respond like shit and make you prone to accidental moves

as for sonic the 3D parts in stages played a bit like sonic R while and the 2D side parts were done nicely but they decided to go overboard on the stage elements like boost rings and etc so the levels seems to play itself when there are large chains of those stage elements

sega almost got it, but werehog fucked it up

you'll only find stuff like that from the best of the hacking and fangaming areas of the sonic community. in fact they are better than sega overall. you won't take me wrong saying that as downloadable right here (http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_the_Hedgehog_GBA) is stealth's sonic 1 GBA port, while not meant to be a complete game it beats the shit out of sonic genesis and even tails and knuckles are in, both complete with their sonic 3&K abilities

if sega ever wants to get sonic back in order they'll have to look at what their fans have done with sonic and learn from them

-tails is in as an NPC
-chip is in as a guide for sonic
-amy is in, same reasons as tails
-knuckles and that whole gay gang of characters that sonic adventure and beyond delivered are absent

if you played it obsessively i'd say it'll last you about 2 to 4 days for the wii/PS2 versions and a little longer for the X360/PS3 versions as they're a bit longer for having all of what was cut from the wii/PS2 versions. if you're playing the wii version i'd reccomend using a gamecube controller.
