I myself will hate it when ANYBODY goes "This Ruins Sonic". For one, Sonic isn't in it, for 2, its called SHADOW the hedgehog, and there is no evidence of ANY Sonic characters besides Shadow himself in it. I mean, the game could use alot of work graphically, but besides that it looks like they copied off Ratchet and Clank with more realistic guns. Theres a few shots where the gun is textured good, and not like crap. Besides a few graphic flaws (Shadow look WAY out of place), it looks like it will be an entertaining game.

what im trying to thnk of is the plot and why would shadow be going around blowing stuff up now it could be the fact hes finding his memorey (from sonic heros) or hes trying to find the things Professor gerald created and destroy them (what he said on SA2) might be something else i dont know but it will probably keep a platforming style to it

This game is meant to take place during Shadow's past. All the stuff he daydreamed about in Sonic Adventure 2 will be right there in this game. This takes place before any of the Sonic games, even Sonic 1 for that matter. In fact, this is at least 50 years before Sonic was born.

Ninja, no, its not. The story has not been specified by SEGA/Sonic Team yet. There is no real story told, so what you say is not truth until E3 comes along.

Hey, I just went according to the words they showed in the trailer. It just seems plainly obvious to me. I'd bet money on the fact that when this game shows up at E3, then this'll be based on Shadow's past, and all the flashbacks he had back in Sonic Adventure 2.

Its already been said to be at E3, so betting money is kinda retarded. I think the game will be made of flashbacks, where Shadow gets more of them more often then in SA2, and thats some parts you'd play as.

Heh.

From an optimistic, non-biased view, this game looks promising.

*Now remembering that I hated seeing Shadow return in Sonic Heroes* Why disgrace a character that we've already enjoyed and saw die? He was good enough for a one-shot game appearance but fangirls and boys just have to be pleased...

Pushing those thoughts away, Shadow the Hedgehog looks promising in that it ditches the crappiness of Team efforts and goes back to single-player gameplay like that of Sonic Adventure.

Though it'll most likely end up as a so-so game with nothing spectacular besides revealing maybe one tidbit of Shadow's past =D
