Title: Sad iPod

This is the second time I've had an iPod die on me >_<

Yesterday, I let my friend listen to my iPod, and then it stopped w/a low battery sign. I plugged it into firewire at home and got the Apple logo followed by a folder symbol with an exclamation mark. I ran every diagnostic and it came back with that infamous "sad iPod" sign. What does this symbol mean? Does this mean the hard drive is toast?

EDIT: Now it's stuck in an Apple logo -> Low battery -> Sad iPod loop right now.

it means don't EVER let anyone else touch an iPod you own ever again.
