Title: Sad iPod (again!)
Post by: Manda on Nov 28 2004, 07:02 AM
5:49AM: Well, I accidentally dropped my iPod 4 foot on a hardwood floor! :(

6:30AM: It is able to be turned on, but it said on the screen "Unable to charge"... and there is no battery meter there...

7:26AM: The battery meter finally show up... but... it is still not able to charge (no "unable to charge" anymore)... shows a battery with exclamation mark icon...

8:01AM: Now, the iPod kept showing me blank screen with back light every 30 sec... After 4 to 5 blank screens, it shows the folder with exclamation mark icon...

Is my iPod dead? Or do I just need to send it to Apple for a battery replacement...

I don't know....you dropped it, so you could have damaged something inside...All I can tell you is check with Apple.

I'll check with Apple and make sure that it just needs a battery replacement...
