supposedly this is a very early build, and later builds might be lying around somewhere

this early setting was supposed to take place inside a computer, with a virus as a villain
this incarnation got far enough to transition to the "fantasy land" setting that the final game finished with, as the pix n' love screenshots suggested
the rayman jaguar beta even has enemy sprites held over from the SNES version
