Just out of curiosity does anyone here play PSU? if a lot of you do we should get together sometime and do group missions  :)

funny. back in 2004, i had phantasy star online. i can't find it anywhere on /origin, which leads me to believe it was on there before the incident during the partition merge. o.o

phantasy star online was taken offline by sega, if you want to play it online you can only do so through private servers... (would it be against the rules for me to post how here samui?)

the question would be, is it against sega's TOS or the law. as long as it ain't illegal, go for it.

it would have been against the law when SEGA was still hosting the game because PSO BB was pay to play, however they've since shut down their servers and no longer host online gaming, the private servers have merely filled in the gap. i'm guessing that it isn't illegal anymore

alright! its really simple to join up, first DL the BB installer via bittorrent (if you can't and you still want to play i'll figure out some other way to get it to you) once you have it just install it like you normally would. Then go to this site and register http://www.schtserv.com/ (http://www.schtserv.com/), the server should then patch itself and you will be read to play, also if you have a PC controler you can use it with BB

(samui, could you split this into a different topic? BB is pretty much a different game then PSU after all)
