youtube (google) apperently is buying it for $1bil

Congratulations to Google for buying Twitch. I'm sure they'll do a good job with it, not end it like you paranoid of Google guys.

Optimistically, I hope they fix what's broken and also make an HTML5 player for Twitch that actually works. However, in my experience that's doubtful, since the Youtube Player has become increasingly broken, forcing me to use an HTML5 player plugin to replace the standard Youtube player [though it does let me switch to the original player in a couple of clicks.].

i'll admit the topic title was a little clickbaity, but i'm neutral on whatever google does, just most people are assuming the worst

Didn't you say you're neutral to Google? You're saying you're fine with Amazon as if you weren't neutral to Google
