Title: Metroidvania Games

Has anyone played any good Metroidvania games lately? Or even heard of them at all? A good example would be Cavestory.

The games usually take elements  of both Castlevania and Metroid.

I've started playing one called Hydra Castle Labyrinth. I haven't gotten far into it yet, though.
