- some kind of king dedede subgame (which means dedede is once again not a major antag, dammit)
- keychain collection thing, which looks to be mostly a collection of sprites from past kirby titles
-- waddle doo and yoyo kirby from KSS, and the kirby pile from KMA
- 3D warpstar to transition to other layers of the stage, gyroscope-related
- an ability called "big bang" obtained from a "miracle fruit", which is the enhanced inhale
- touch screen item storage
- some kind of flowery variation of whispy woods
- kracko returns
- appears to be the fountain of dreams in the background in the kracko shot

seems near all the standard abilities from RTDL is returning, maybe they hid smash in as the code exists for it in a subgame on dreamcolle

still no release date

out in japan now, still not dated for the rest of the world

pardon the morbid pessimism, but i feel it's going to be like new leaf all over again, like 6-8 months, and that'd be a ridiculous wait between japan and not-japan for a kirby title, hell there isn't any media on a localized version yet other than an english logo

That reminds me of when Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story was first released in Japan. It ended up taking seven months or so for it to be released elsewhere.

RPGs are texty, ACNL was texty, but no kirby game I know could possibly have that much to localize

they're stage hazards...where'd they go during RTDL's development? they'd be more suiting for the 4 player co-op than series villain has-been/anti-hero/throwaway minion that grew a backbone
