the franchise's brightest day since the day mother3 arrived

they're still running as big a risk re-releasing it in japan in a seemingly untouched state as in anywhere else

the only glaring difference is that we have the dali's clock problem and they don't, but the untouched JP game has alot more ground for litigation including the ever forbidden red crosses...

And so, a much-anticipated re-release of Earthbound is finally coming to the Wii U Virtual Console this year. I personally couldn't care less, since I consider this game to be pretty overrated, but to those who were looking forward to it, congrats.

Ness has been a regular in the Super Smash Bros. series since the first game, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch for him to appear in the fourth one. Not including him at this point would be like leaving out Mario.
