Title: Help...
Post by: KaosX on Feb 12 2005, 06:33 AM
My computer (in my room) is old and for some reason Java doesn't work AT ALL. I've downloaded updated versions and everything but it won't work :(  Does anyone know what to do?

You may need a virus check, unistall and reinstall java, or your computer just doesn't have the power to support it.

Although you could overclock your computer, but I don't recommend it.

I think Syphon might be right. My computer is about 6 years old... but nothing at all works with it...

Yes, you could overclock it, but then it might permanently crash...and you'd be screwed. I don't recomend it either.

If you have windows (I will assume you do) just right click "My Computer" icon on your desktop, hit properties.

OK, go right-click on My Computer, then select Properties.

Your processor speed should be listed...

the my computer thing dose work with 98.

anyway, you can always try a reinstall, or, if you're creazyu liek me, put XP or 2K on it and hoipe it runs. but i'mm running with system minimum and here's my stats, except HD space i just have a few thigns that take up alot of HD space.
