perhaps the 1st of games that uses a prehistoric theme, you play a caveman with an abnormally large head with a skull as hard as rock, headbutting enemies and eating meat to increase your power. It started on the TG-16, but there were also releases for the NES, SNES, GB, arcade, and a PS2/GCN remake that never was releases outside Japan.

I ended up playing the NES game in my childhood.

Never played it. When I saw the topic of the title I thought you were reffering to "Bonkers"
