So, last week, I finally got around to downloading the full version. I originally inteded to buy it for the Wii, but I've come across three stores in a row that were fresh out of Wii Points, so I decided to download it from X-Box Live Arcade instead, and it totally sucked, man! First of all, Sonic's eyes were green, his eyelids were blue, his legs were too long, and his quills were so long that they almost touched the ground! Also, they added the Homing Attack, and changed Robotnik's name to "Eggman"! NONE of these things should've been in the game! It was supposed to have been a direct sequel to Sonic 3 & Knuckles! It was supposed to have been as if Sonic Adventure and onward NEVER happened, but they completely blew it!
...
Just kidding. I actually liked the game. Sure, it did have its flaws, and the physics could have used some work, but it definitely isn't unplayable like many people have been making it out to be. This game, for the most part, definitely stayed true to what the Genesis/Mega Drive games established; speed, platforming, Special Stages (which could easily be called some of the hardest in the series), and whatever else. I do wish that the game could have been longer, though, as well as having more original content. Other than that, I think I got my money's worth with this game. I'll definitely be looking forward to Episode 2 when it comes out. Especially if Tails and Knuckles (the latter especially) are playable. Also:
Metal Sonic is going to play an important role, as Episode 1's cliffhanger ending has demonstrated.
