History: Reiko was a kitsune at one point in time. His station was to protect those that wondered around at night, during the time when the Void could be seen the most. He was also stationed with making sure lighting happened during storms, as were plenty of other kitsune. Eventually he grew tired of this, wanting to venture beyond his station, which was forbidden for any kitsune to do. One night, he left his station, in search of new things. At this time he was still pretty much a kit, with only two tails. He was not ready for the world of Man, or any other creatures that were there. Like Tano. Tano was a tanuki, a mischevious one at that, swindling men out of their money for his own greedy and gluttonous needs. Reiko had come into his sight. Seeing that he was still young and ignorant, Tano invited him to a race. Not knowing the tanuki's intentions, Reiko thought it good fun. They lined up, Reiko sure he was going to win. They took off, or atleast Reiko did. Tano stood at the starting point, an evil grin on his face. He sent the poor kitsune running towards a dragon's den. Reiko unexpectantly ran in, only to run back out, chased by a large dragon, intent on feeding on the poor fox. Reiko ran to the only place he thought of for safety: the illusionatory world that a powerful Kyubbi had created as a haven for other kitsunes. He lead the dragon there. The other kitsune scrambled, closing the world they created, leaving Reiko alone with the dragon. He thought he was finished, until Inari and the Dragon God appeared, banishing the dragon back to where it had come from. Inari abandoned him there on the world of Men until he could learn his lesson. He was now a nogitsune, no longer in the favor of Inari. Reiko had other things on his mind though. Finding that tanuki was one of them.
As you can see, I like detailed characters. ^_^
