Name: Shadow
Age: 20
Height 5'11"
Appearance: He is of average build and height in either fox or human form. His chosen form seems to be a mix of both human and Fox. Two black tails with white tips flowing gently behind him, adjusting their steady sway to his emotions. His body itself is thin and lightly muscled, while his movements seem trained for a much greater speed then normal. He forgoes more modern clothing and instead chooses to wear a white formal Kimono with a black Hakama and Kataginu making up the complete Kamishimo. He has long, black hair that seems to fan out closer to the end and resting atop his head are two white tipped black fox ears.
Species: Void Kitsune
Bio: Shadow's mother was a celestial, living amongst others in a hamlet safe from the darker, more chaotic Voids. This didn't stop the Matriarchal Celestials from occasionally getting into a skirmish with the Patriarchal voids. Whether it be over food, or territory, there was always conflict between the two, but neither side cared. They were enemies because they had to be to keep balance. This did not stop them from being civil occasionally. Trade between the two was prosperous, whether it be materials of war or peace.
Occasionally, a celestial would succumb to a sinister attempt to continue life. The celestial, male or female, would be lured away from the settlement and beset upon by a void of opposite gender. The products of such a union always tended to be the mother's elemental affinity, but there were the occasional odd cases.
Shadow, was born a Void black with celestial resistances to Void attacks and fire. Believing him to be a celestial regardless of his color, the matriarchs began training him like they trained the others. About 50 years into his training, he began showing his true elemental affinity. The Void had started calling him. Small, curious whispers at first, telling him to do this, or do that. Try doing this or attempt that. Then it became a manifestation, eerie, malicious whispers continuously taunting him and berating him, praising him when he shows a darker alignment and granting him the powers of the Void. Once proven to be a Void, he was kicked from the settlement, all traces of him purged of the void's influence.
From then, he lived around the settlement, so as to still be able to see his mother when she went out on hunting parties, until he reached his second tail, and felt the need to set out and learn more about his powers and abilities. Before leaving, though, his mother gave to him a small pendant, inscribed with the kanji 'Ai' which she promised him will keep the more malicious ideals of the void at bay.
Powers: he has high resistance to fire (weaker against other elements) and control over darkness. He can use the darkness around him to; teleport Kaeru (Kuchiyose when clone summoning), create copies of himself Kuron (deal no damage/Summoning himself to a copy's location disperses the copy), Slow Osoku (moderate), and blind Kageru (lasts several minutes, unable to be blinded again for another 20). His physical prowess, for lack of a better word, sucks. It takes multiple hits for him to do the same amount of damage anyone else can do, but because of this his attack speed is a bit higher then average.
