Chapter 2.
When Reuben got home his mom was waiting for him "Uh, they busted my tire again..." Reuben said meekly. "Why do these boy's do this?" Mom said "I don't know! Why don't you ask them!?" He shouted. Reuben always had an anger problem you talked to him and he snapped at ya. "Excuse me!?" His mother shouted back. Truth be told the whole family had anger problems and they were very loud. While Reuben was skinny his mom was chubby but had recently been going on a diet. They continued arguing and by the time they finsished Reuben was quiet "Ah I'm going to bed."
(I'm skipping time to get to the point)
====3 years later===
Reuben woke up groggy his room as always a mess he got up reluctantly and stretched like a cat. He ran a hand through his curly hair today was saturday and he turned on the TV and began watching cartoons. He liked watching cartoons because they were funnier than real actors and most of the time much more violent which he liked. Reuben was more muscular than before but not completely he could lift heavy stuff but couldn't fight because he didn't like fighting in real life fighting in games, yeah. Reuben was a peaceful boy still but now he thought philosophically and thought very dark thoughts all the time. He thought about death and the flaws in humans and the many problems that they caused though he never voiced these to the public. Reuben got up and went to the living room where his cat was sleeping on the sofa he tip-toed then when he was very close poked her she gave a sleepy grunt as she looked around. She looked at him, leaned forward and started sniffing then she stopped and gave a snort then put her head back down.
'Lazy fat cat any fatter and she'll look like Garfield!' he thought. He shook his head then sighed and layed on the sofa and looked at the cat. Her eye's were closed and soft baaing noise could be heard 'Snoring that cat's near enough human!' he thought and chuckled. He went back to his room and when the cartoons finished he turned on his gamecube and began playing Tales of Symphonia again. He had already beaten the game 6 times already and evertime he redid the game differently. "Reuben!" His mom shouted "Yes!?" He had to say yes his mom never wanted him to say what ever! "Come here please!" 'goddamn it what now!?' he thought as he put the controls down. He had taken anger management and had calmed down considerably but he was not a changed man. He didn't belive in the word change. In fact he had made a theory about change. He said that change doesn't exist and that people don't change the way they act they just stop using previous habit's. As he went to see what his mom wanted the lights fizzed slightly he paused and looked up then muttered "electricity bill" and walked to meet his mom.
===A few minutes later===
Reuben was on his bed again playing the game and eventually got bored saved and turned it off. He just sat there then rested his head and began to question himself. 'what's our purpose in life?' Immediatly Mystery Archangel joined in 'Your pupose human is to live your short life to the fullest and hope for the best in life...' 'but there's got to be more to it than that' Reuben answered back 'There is you have to find it I'm not going to tell you for that would ruin you...' Arch replyed. 'what do you mean...? Is something going to happen to me?' Arch didn't say anything he spread his wings and left. 'Why the fuck doesn't he ever give a straight answer' Reuben opened his eye's coming out of his dream state. 'It's getting dark' he thought as he looked out the window he took off his clothes and took a shower and went to bed.
