...Why does snow have to be so cold? It's so beautiful, but when it comes, it gets cold out, and I get sicker..... If it were warm, then I could play in it longer.....I'd never get sick from playing in something so beautiful...
...I remember that it was only two years ago that I could play in the snow....It covered everything, and it made me happy whenever it came.....But now, since I started learning how to do the things we do, it hurts....it hurts when I go outside in the cold, and it hurts if snow touches my bare skin.....It even starts to hurt to breathe eventually....The cold also makes me even more sick than usual....sometimes, when it's really bad, I can barely move.....But, if I were unable to move, then I would finally transform, and become one of us.....I'd be free of pain...When that happens, I'll be happy, because it means I won't be sick or in pain any more......
...It makes me happy to think of that happening....But it makes me sad, because I know that even though I've come far, I still have more to go through before it ever happens....Still, I look forward to what will happen when it happens....maybe I'll do something wonderful...or make something warm, but as beautiful as snow.....
