Chapter One: The Beginning

In Angel Island, Knuckles was talking to himself. Knuckles said "It's finally peace and quiet. No sign from Eggman and Sonic was gone too. Tails said that they are no bases that belong to Eggman. I guess I can protect the Master Emerald now." Suddenly the Master Emerald was glowing and Knuckles noticed. "What's with the Master Emerald?" said Knuckles and then a hedgehog came and fell on the floor. "Huh? Sonic? No this can't be Sonic." The hedgehog then woke up. "Wow that was a strong warp Typhoon. Where am I, anyway?" "Hey you! You've got 5 seconds to tell who you are and what you're doing here!!!" shouted Knuckles at the Hedgehog. "An Echidna? It looks like that Typhoon brought me to a new world!" said the hedgehog. "Your not from earth?!?!" shouted Knuckles as he was really shocked. "Hmm?" asked the hedgehog to Knuckles. "By the way, I'm Skye the hedgehog." "Well. I'm Knuckles." "Nice to meet you, Knuckles. Do you have a place for me left?" asked Skye to Knuckles. Knuckles shaked his head but he said "No but there is a place in Tails' Workshop." "Umm... Who's Tails?" asked Skye. "He's a yellow 2-tailed fox. He's a mechanic." said Knuckles. "And... Where is the Workshop?" asked Skye another question. "It's right over there." pointed Knuckles on Tails' Workshop. "Thanks. Bye!" said Skye and waved at Knuckles. Knuckles waved back. "He sure is nice. He will get friends sooner or later." said Knuckles to himself.

Skye went to Tails' Workshop. Skye knocked on the door. Tails opened the door. "Hi!" He said to Skye. "Hey umm... your friend Knuckles said that you have some places left for me to stay." said Skye to the fox. "We do have some space. We have only 2 extra bedrooms." said Tails. When Skye was about to come in, a pink hedgehog with a red dress then runs up to Prime and hugs Skye and said "SONIC!" But Skye said "Excuse me ma'am but, I'm not Sonic that you are talking about." The pink hedgehog took a little step back and shouted in anger like thunder "SONIC!!! WHERE ARE YOU!!!" Skye asked Tails "Is she always like that?" Tails nodded. "Oh umm... I'm Amy." introduced the pink hedgehog. "I'm Skye." introduced Skye back. A rabbit and chao came by. "Who's this?" asked the rabbit to Amy and Tails. "That's Skye." said Tails. "He's just needs a place to stay." "That's great! You've just came to the right place, Skye. I'm Cream and this is Cheese." said Cream with joy. Sonic came on the run to Tails' Workshop. "Hey everyone!" greeted Sonic. "Sonic's back!" cried Tails. "SONIC! I MISSED YOU!!" shouted Amy and hugged Sonic. "Amy," said Sonic to Amy. Skye then took a thought. so THAT'S Sonic. Sonic noticed Skye. "Who's this, faker?" "Wah! Don't make me fight you!" cried Skye. "Hmph. Bring it on." said Sonic with a shine on his eye. "No please don't! I'm not good at fighting!" cried Skye even louder. Suddenly Amy jumped in and shouted "STOP SONIC!!" "Amy! Get outta the way!" said Sonic. "First of all Sonic, he's not an enemy! And second, he didn't do anything to us!" Skye then got calm and said "Thank you, Amy. You stopped the fight..." Sonic then said "Fine. Do what you want. Anyways..." Sonic looked at Skye. "Who are you?" I though this would come... thought Skye and said "I'm Skye." Sonic said "I'm Sonic. Sonic the hedgehog!" "Well now that you know each other. Everything will be fine." Skye said "I hope so..." "So what brought you here in Mystic Ruins?" asked Sonic. "This is Mystic Ruins? Well I got warped from another place. I thought of finding a place to stay and a red Echidna told me that I should stay in Tails' Workshop." Nice choice, Knuckles thought Sonic and said "Well..." Skye's ears started twitching. "Is anything wrong?" asked Sonic. "I just heard someone's voice" replied Skye. From a distance a black and red hedgehog shouted "Hey Sonic!" "Who's this hedgehog?" asked Skye to Sonic. The black and red hedgehog shouted "Shut up, who ever you are!" "Listen man, I don't wanna fight." said Skye to the black and red hedgehog. "You really are independent. Still don't wanna fight though. If you do then back off. Who are you, anyways?" "I'm Shadow the hedgehog!" "Nice introduction!" said Skye sarcastically. "Now back off." Shadow went angry like fire "Why you... Chaos Spear!" "Wah!" shouted Skye and dodged them. "Watch it man! You nearly toasted me!" "That would be even better." said Shadow. Shadow continued doing Chaos Spear. Skye dodged most of them but by the last shot of Shadow, he got slashed a his chest. Skye's Chest was bleeding. It continued bleeding. Skye fell on the ground and the blood was still running and Skye passed out. "Skye!" shouted Sonic. Tails checked Skye's Heartbeat and his Breathing. "His heartbeat is normal and his breathing is slow. He'll be OK." "Shadow! You don't need to harm someone innocent." Sonic said to Shadow. "He deserves it!" "No he didn't! And if it wasn't you who started the fight, this wouldn't have happened." "... ... ..." "You should feel sorry for what you did."

Chapter 2: Hakuna Matata...

After Skye passed out, he woke up on bed with a bandage around his chest and arm. "That was a big damage. I couldn't believe that black hedgehog knew where my weak spot was even though I didn't tell him." Sonic comes in. "Hey! Your better now. Shadow is strong but it's quite easy to see what he does next. That damage was sure serious." "Huh? Oh I thought you were that black hedgehog. Anyways, he shot on my weak spot even though I didn't tell him." Tails knocks on the door. "You're filling better. I was wo--" Skye interrupted "Worried? Ahh... Hakuna Matata." "What did you just say?" asked Sonic and Tails. "Hakuna Matata. It means 'No Worries'." "Hey Skye! Heard of the damage that happened to you." walked Knuckles in the room. "Oh hey Knuckles." Then suddenly Shadow comes in. "Oh hey..." "What are you doing here?" asked Skye. "I just came here to say sorry." replied Shadow. "That would've been better if you said that before I passed out. And that anger I saw from you... Is you like you got Amnesia." "I did caught Amnesia 50 years ago. It's about some person that I know and died from a disease." "Maria was it." interrupted Sonic. "Sonic how dare you..." said Shadow as if he felt as he wanted a fight. "Keep your temper under control, Shadow..." said Skye. "OK..." said Shadow. "Anyways, how are you?" "I'm fine after the damage you did to me. I couldn't fight." "Can you get up?" "I'll try..." and Skye got up feeling the pain. " The damage was much stronger than I thought." "Well the only thing that is important is your life." said Tails. "It would take time to recover." "Of course it would. It was my weak spot!" said Skye. "Oh?" said Shadow. "Then I shot you hard. Sorry." "Hakuna Matata." said Skye the same word. Shadow looked puzzled. "It means 'No Worries'." said Skye. Shadow understood. "Amy thought I was Sonic." said Skye without having to think anything to say. "She's always like that to every hedgehog." said Sonic.

Chapter 3: ZAP!!! Electricity!

After Skye recovered abit from the damage, Skye was asked to help Tails on the Workshop although Skye haven't build or repaired anything before but he gave it shot. While fixing Skye accidentlly powered up with electricity the engine and it worked.

"You fixed the engine? That was nice from you! It didn't work for a long time." said Tails in a shock.

"OK Tails. Umm... Don't tell anyone, OK?" said Skye as if it was a secret. "I control Electricity."

"You do? That's actually handy you know." whispered Tails to Skye. "You power up. You drain energy... you know what I mean."

Suddenly Sonic comes in asks "What's with the whispering, eh?"

Tails was about to spill it out but Skye covered his mouth. Sonic did a suspicious look. "Kay..." said Sonic and he walks out of the room.

After Sonic was gone, Skye uncovered Tails mouth. "That was close. Tails, I told you not to." said Skye with an angry expression.

Tails had a reason though. "We could at least let Sonic know."

Skye thought about it but somehow doesn't trust Sonic. Skye said "Some people will mistake me as Sonic and when I cause trouble, everyone will start blaming Sonic even though it wasn't even his fault!"

Tails agreed but he said "I agree but you could change your look. You look quite identical to Sonic but try to at least be normal."

Skye argued. "I AM trying to be normal!"

Tails corrected. "Not Normal 'Normal'. Being yourself!"

Skye admits that he agrees with Tails. "OK. I'll try..." Skye was about to walk out of the room and suddenly heard Tails.

"I'd probably need your help. Don't you mind if you power up some mechanics?"

Skye smiled and said "Sure."

They both went back to work. After powering up some mechanics, Skye said "I need a break!"

Tails also needed a break and then Sonic came back. "Hey!" greeted Sonic

Skye and Tails said "Hi Sonic."

"So what was the talk about?" asked Sonic with curiosity.

"Not much. Just... stuff." Skye didn't know what to say when Sonic asked that question.

"Stuff." Sonic wasn't really surprised when Skye said it. "OK..." Sonic had an even more suspicious look and thought I wonder what they are keeping from me...

Skye then gives up. "OK Sonic I give up. I control electricity and I didn't fight because I hated Violence."

Sonic said "So THAT'S why you were about to suicide yourself."

Skye then explained "I was trying to be normal cause if I be myself and people started started calling me Sonic, I could get into trouble for a while then everyone would start blaming you even though it wasn't your fault!"

Sonic said "I get the point. But you ARE already normal."

Skye asked "I am?"

Sonic replied "Yes you are. And it doesn't matter if you are different or not. I mean you don't see a hedgehog that can control electricity everyday do you?"

Skye admits and said "I guess you are right."

After Skye and Sonic talked about it, they went to Station Square. Time passed and it was night. Skye was impressed on how much electricity they use on Station Square was unlimited.

Some people are quite scared of Skye and thought if Skye was a clone of Sonic.

Skye whispered "Umm tell me, why are they all looking at me scared? Do I have something on?"

Sonic whispered back. "No it's just your new here. People don't know you."

Then accidentlly sucked electricity from a street lamp.

Sonic asked "Did you just do that?"

Skye replied "It happens like that. I couldn't stop it."

Sonic wasn't very surprised. "At least keep it under control."

Some citizens said "Did you just see that?" and others were "Oh my goodness!" and "He's a Electricity sucker! We must get him out of here!"

Skye was about to sob. Sonic felt sorry.

Sonic took his hand and said "Let's go."

Sonic and Skye heard Police sirens. The policeman came and shouted "Hey kid! Sucking electricity out is not normal and not allowed here! You've got to come with me!" and the police grabbed his wrist.

Skye shouted in a deadly voice. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!! I'M NOT A KID EITHER!!!" and he got his wrist free.

Sonic was impressed. That was his first time seeing Skye defending himself.

The police got angry and grabbed the loud speaker. "FREEZE!!" then he called for men to surround Skye.

Skye looked at the policemen surrounding him. Skye was still angry as fire. The policeman shouted and everybody was watching. Everybody was expecting Skye to be caught. The policemen jumped onto him and Skye launched a counter attack which was a Thunder shock. All men collapsed. Skye did a warning shot.

Skye said in a deadly voice "If you ever mess with me again..." and his serious face came closer. "You'll face the wrath of my thunder."

Sonic was impressed "I never seen you with that much strength."

Skye said "I did what I had to do..."

End of Chapter 3

Chapter 4: Locked up...

The next day, Skye and Sonic went to Station Square again but Skye was pretending not to cause any trouble. On the way, Sonic noticed a white hedgehog with glowing marks. It was Silver!

Sonic came up to Silver and said "Hey Silver! Long time no see!"

Silver greeted back. "Hi Sonic!" then he noticed Skye. "By the way, who's this hedgehog?" asked Silver out of curiosity.

Sonic knew what he meant by that. "That's Skye!" then he turned to Skye. "Skye, Silver." and then he turned to Silver. "Silver, Skye."

All of a sudden, the Policemen did an ambush and captured Skye with a net! Skye struggled wildly and shot electricity shock to get free but every hit does nothing. Skye asked angrily "WHAT KIND NET IS THIS!?!?"

"Skye!" shouted Sonic.

Policeman laughed "Ha ha ha! That's an electricity-proof net! Every hit with electricity does nothing!"

"AND WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO WITH ME!?!?" asked Skye with anger.

"Lock you in a cell of course!" and the Policeman grabbed the net and took him to the Police Station.

"I'll get you free! I promise!!!" shouted Sonic across the distance.

"He didn't do anything!" said Silver to Sonic with a reason. "We must get him free!"

Sonic said sadly "I know, Silver. I know..."

After a few moments later, Skye was sent to an Island with the best security systems.
The Policeman threw the net to a cell and Skye got hit onto the wall. Skye asked with pain "What is this place!?"

He laughed. "This is Prison Island! The best prison with the best Security Systems in the whole country! The prisoners try to break out but it was impossible! Ha ha ha ha ha!" and he went away

"I hope Sonic gets me outta here... there's NOTHING I can do..." said Skye to himself as he was about to sob.

Back to Sonic and Silver, they headed to Mystic Ruins. There, they were Amy, Tails and Knuckles there.

Silver greeted to everyone with a smile. "Hey everyone! Long time no see."

They all greeted back with a smile. "Hey Silver!"

Amy noticed Skye wasn't there. "Hey..." Amy looked around wondering where he is. "Where's Skye?"

Sonic knew somebody would ask that. "Well he got caught by the Police of an ambush although he didn't do anything."

Tails said in a shock. "An AMBUSH?!"

Knuckles said with confidence "He needs a helping hand."

Amy asked curiously. "But why was he sent to prison?"

Sonic explained "Maybe it is was happened last night!"

Silver asked Sonic "What happened last night?"

Sonic explained "OK. Me and Skye was at Station Square then he drained some energy from a street lamp by accident. Then came the Police and got told off to come with him but he refused. Then the police called more guards. Then Skye electric shot them and left with a warning shot."

Amy then grabbed her hammer and with confidence. "We are going to prison break into the base and free Skye!"

Silver joined in with a speech. "Me too!"

Sonic gave a thumbs up. "Great! Are you helping Knuckles?"

Knuckles had a reason. "Since I saw him in the first place, I'll give the favor back."

Tails interrupted "Hey! Before you go, were these! You can contact me and each other while you're somewhere else."

Sonic thanked "Thanks Tails! That sure will come in handy!"

Knuckles asked "By the way, how does it work?"

Silver replied to him."You put it on. You turn the on/off button and you've got contacts! Wow! There's an Inbox too!"

Sonic said with a smile "A little too overconfidence."

Amy said with confidence like a leader "So what are you waiting for? Let's go!"

To Skye all alone in Prison Island. It was really dark the cell. "I know you can do it Sonic... If I hadn't done it, it wouldn't have happened."
